Alongside many other individuals and organizations, Color My Outdoors is working to change the outdoor narrative to be inclusive and celebratory of people of color. Part of this important work includes gathering stories to replace the old narrative.

The New Narrative is a project by Color My Outdoors to share the stories that lift up people of color as the main character in the tale of the outdoors. From camping to scuba diving to mountain biking to a family hike, we want to hear your story. We want to hear the challenges, the first-time adventures, and the triumphs.
